Jo is an amazing swimming teacher with such a passion for children and teaching. It's always such a pleasure when my child has to go for swimming and she can't stop talking about how much she loves JoJo. ♡

Our kids love going to Jo. Our son nags 1 hour before we go and keeps nagging until we get there.The important part for me is this. Jo is brilliant with kids. She loves every single child as her own.My son knows what to do if he gets tired in the water and how to keep himself afloat if he gets into trouble in a body of water.Jo has given me some comfort. This does not take away from the fact the I need to always be there if my children are near water or to ensure that they dont go near water without my knowledge, but it does help my piece of mind knowing that he might be able to help himself until someone can get to him.Thank you Joanne Grobler for the amazing patience you show, for your love of what you do and for running a good swimming school.

We've known Joanne for over a year now and I'm grateful to Our Father in heaven she was the lady we landed up entrusting our 2yr old & 9yr old with. (Ages at time of joining the Academy)I've had over a year to watch how she took the younger who had no prior water training to being water safe, diving, floating on his back, climbing out of the deep end & managing to do a length of a 10-12m pool. His sister went from barely being able to doggy paddle to swimming 3 different strokes in a competitive pool and went from coming last at the school gala to ending with good swimmers a year later.I must add though my children were there for 2 lessons a week and consistently so - winter & summer. I could clearly see how extra class a week kept the routine & sped up development & technique.Joanne has a REAL love for both what she does & each of her students and meets each child where they at, not trying to sausage machine them but allowing them to have fun whilst learning & training.Is she a push over - no way! She keeps things firm & ordered unless she just feels they need a break to let go & have fun. One of her great traits is the ability to read her students & work with them as unique individuals with different talents & abilities. Ive seen her show great patience when children are having a bad day or just arrive not themselves.So if you looking for a teacher who is REAL, loving, committed, willing to go the extra mile & a great instructor you will rob yourself & loved ones if you dont give her a try.

Jo Jo swimming has been exceptional for our kids. They have gained so much confidence in the water, both are able to swim and this happens in a very loving and fun environment.

Jo Jo's Swimming School far exceeded our expectations! Jo-Anne is an experienced swimming instructor who really knows what she's doing.About two months ago, we enrolled our little boy (4 years old) for a weekly swimming lesson. Jo-Anne's style is perfect for kids, 9-tenths affection and just enough seriousness to keep the kids guessing and paying attention. What we love most is that Jo-Anne is actually incredibly caring and affectionate; stealing an occasional cuddle and smiling a secret smile that shows how proud she is off her little ones.Our little boy loves his lessons so much, we asked to attend twice a week. And a month later we took our 7-month-old little girl for her first lessons too.After just a few months, my little boy is basically swimming. It's incredibly to see and it's such a relief as parents to know he has this potentially life-saving skill!I cannot recommend Jo Jo's Swimming School highly enough.
