Hanglip Mountain Lodge

This place is amazing! Nestled in the center of Entabeni Conservancy, this is the ultimate in African immersion. When you wake up and draw the curtains to see herds of wildebeest walking by right outside your window, you have to pinch yourself to believe you are really there.The lodge was beautiful and the staff is pleasant and helpful. I loved the food and the firepit in the boma was a great touch. The rooms are lovely, bright with elegant furnishings, deep soaking tubs and spectacular views of Mt. Entabeni. There are no TVs or Wifi in the room so if that is important to you, stay in your city! If, however you want to experience an awesome experience in the African Bush, put this place on your bucket list.

Such an experience!! For 2 we got two game drives (the drive to our chalet is a game drive on its own), 45 min massages, breakfast, supper and breakfast boufets and shuttled by ranger everywhere. Lions, rhino's, elephants, giraffes etc come right to our door. Super affordable and grand specials. The chalet we are staying in is classy, clean, neat, big, safe, beautiful, comfortable with a fire place inside and a gorgeous bath and shower and balcony to sit on while gazing at the wild life right out side your door. Star gazing. The customer service we have received is extravagant, welcome drinks upon arrival and warmly and openly welcomed by the amazing man Nicholas. Served by wonderful, kind staff at dinner and breakfast, not to even mention the yummy food provided by talented chef's and lovely live entertainment by the staff singing while we sit at out dinner table close to the bonfire. Perfect spot for your whole family and friends. Definitely worth it! Please come and experience this for yourself, you'll thank me later!

Had a wonderful mini Break. We were lucky to hear Lions at night not far from our accommodation. Had a wonderful game drive. Great staff.

Always an incredible experience.The staff, accommodation, food and facilities are fantastic.Not to mention the amazing guides.Scenery and variety of the landscape is stunning.Have had the most incredible sightings of every animal you could possibly hope to see.

This lodge offers incredible adventures! We were so catered to it us hard to imagine a better experience in the wild. Quality service from the guides. Housekeepers, meal service staff, lodge manager etc.Lodges were spacious, modern, yet made to be rustic. Meals were fantastic, several held in the lodge, one outside in their protected coral with bonfire and barbeque pit. All served family style. Although the conservancy is fenced. it is large enough for animals to roam free. We were lucky enough to see lions mating, elephants, at the swimming pool and water tank area being mischievous, and many other animals too numerous to mention. A true African experience well worth being a part of. Wish we could have been there longer.

So worth it. Such an amazing experience with amazing staff. We initially booked a different lodge but due to maintenance they routed us here. I'm so glad they did. We will definitely come back.

Love everything about this place, currently under some refurbishment but will be even better. Amazing location and our room was fantastic with a fire place. Animals all around you, just amazing

Hanglip mountain resort , a 10 lodge resort in Entabeni Reserve Lower Encampment. Very luxurious thached roof lodges with 5* amenities. The included lunch and dinner was a very good experience. The morning and evening Safari were very rewarding.Highly recommended.

Amazing staff! Friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are luxurious and food is excellent. Highly recommend. Just finished my 17 game drive here.
