Not many friendly faces, no such thing as the client is right, very bad at answering phones.

Went to the new shop the other day for the first time since they moved to the newer premises. Was expecting the same old, friendly, good service, but unfortunately I did not receive that, at all. I wasn't greeted friendly by ANYONE when entering the shop and the salesman (Rueben) was quite unfriendly (greeted me with a look of contempt) and looked annoyed the whole time I talked to him. Was almost like I was asking him stupid questions and he just wanted to get rid of me. Also when I asked him if any of them could come help take a look at the EXACT part I needed he remarked that they are not technicians, just salesmen. What happened to the service at the old shop, where they were willing to come out to take a look and give advice? Surely one must have SOME knowledge to work at such a premises? It's like the humanity has left the place.In any case, sadly I don't think I will be going back there if I'm made to feel so unwelcome and like such a burden. Will rather stick to Auto Zone. They are twice the distance away from where I live compared to Midas, but at least they are friendly and actually make the effort to assist you.

Visited Midas Hermanus in the faint hope they could help me avoid having to buy wiper blades from the dealer as had happened previously. I was assisted by an enthusiastic Nathaniel who having heard Renault Captur" abandoned the computer and asked if the vehicle was present. He then removed the wipers and disappeared into the back of the shop determined to find a solution. He emerged beaming a little later

It never ceases to amaze me how employees of a business don't realize that it is customers who pay their salaries that feed their families. I certainly will never support this business again if the owner does not care about the level of service his employees provide to paying customers."

The place have moved just around the corner where the used to be. Bigger and much more open spaces. Always clean and smells good when you in the shop
