I spent 8 weeks at The Roosters Nest and it was the best decision. Simone and Suzette are so lovely, the house is amazing and has a perfect garden to read a book, enjoy a glass of wine or some tea, or just relax; I met wonderful people, got great recommendations.. I wouldn’t change anything.Thank you so much for making me feel at home, hope to see you soon again!

If you plan to stay in Johannesburg I really recommend you to choose this accommodation. It's a lovely place with lovely people ❤️ and the food is like from a five star restaurant! Thank you again for all your care.

We spent a very beautiful month at the roosters nest. Simone and Suzette are really welcoming and their house are a nice place to be. It’s quiet and you can hear lots of birds.Suzette is a great cooker and thanks to her we can try african specialities.Thank you so much for having us and for all your suggestion to discover Johannesburg.Hope to see you soon !(Ps: hug the dogs for us)Léa and Charline

After a very long drive from the Kalahari we felt at home the moment we were greeted at the main gate.Your are more than just guesthouse hosts - you are loving, caring friends. We were in communication with Suzette from Rooster's Nest and were amazed at how friendly they were. The telephone manner was amazing and the guesthouse is an absolute gem. I would refer them to anyone wanting to stay over close to Kempton Park.

Simone was an absolutely lovely host who was always prepared to assist whenever we needed it. The place itself is very close to the city, however you feel like you are in the country side because of just how tranquil it is. Thanks again Simone. Would definitely go back.

When I arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome and a fantastic room. I felt right at home. My home away from home. The people, food, environment and the pets were just lovely. I recommend The Roosters Nest BnB. It's my favorite and I'm sure it will be yours aswell. Thank you for the amazing time that I was there with you.
