I loved my stay here! The view is beautiful, and there is a large balcony where you can have a braai while watching the sea. The hosts are lovely people as well.

The upper rooms have a magnificent view. Rooms are comfortable and lead to a stoep where you can hear and see the sea less than 20 m away. Every unit has a shared bathroom, two bedrooms, a kitchen and living room. I will certainly return.

Good for an overnighter. Our room was not upstairs so had no view. Pleasant hosts.

Yzerfontein is the place where you will find your soul again should you feel that it got lost in the whirlwind of everyday life. One can sit on the stoep, watch the sun go down with a 180 degree sea view you or lie in your bed admiring the change in colours on the beach as the sun comes up.The upper unit where we stayed is equipped with a small kitchen where one can comfortably prepare your own meals. It is a real treat to find a spot in South Africa where you can still sleep with a wide open door and listen to sounds of waves crashing on the beach as you doze off.The owners are friendly, available and willing to help. Four days of peace and calm had the same effect as a three week holiday at home. I strongly recommend Anna se Huis for a quick break away from everyday rush and stress.Martmarie Van Zyl
