They had a very poor selection of sandwiches to select from. My toasted ham and cheese bagel was still cold when I received it and I did not enjoy it all. My little lemon meringue was not fresh. I was there at about 13H30 on a Wednesday. I was so very disappointed.

One of our favourite places for our midweek coffee dates! A smallish venue, but combined with that classic Bootleggers aroma, makes you feel like you're in a coffee shop in europe somewhere...The food is always great, fresh pies, sarmies, salad bowls and sweet treats compliment the diverse beverage options.The service is what sets this venue apart though... always friendly and honest, helpful recommendations on food options add to the tourist feels.BTW, get the app in your favorite app store; its easy to use and rewards you with cashback and free coffees. Easy to navigate, and very functional...link a card if you'd like, and scan and pay at the paypoint...easy peasy lemon squeezy

The only downside would be that this particular Bootlegger does not have alternative power. So you can not enjoy a cuppa when it loadshedding. However, the woolies next door is more than willing to save the day. This doesn't stop you from buying pastries, though. It's definitely a great cuppa, though, and very friendly service. Make a stop on your way to the office next time!

Excellent atmosphere and serviceI was in the area, stopped here early morning go do calls, meetings, had a flat white and something light to eat.What wonderful service and place to work from, staff is wondeful kudos to the 2 staff members who made everyone feel welcome.I was able to work and take calls even during load shedding the wifi and coffee works.Just make sure you have a charged laptop as the power outlets does not work, no complaints just a heads up.Thanks again looking forward to the next visit

Popped in for a quick ice coffee and tea - only 3 people in the shop waited more than 15 minutes to place an order since the lady behind the counter proffered having a chat with one of the customers - I understand customer service is important but assist others 2 or ask your colleagues to assist

I have been to this specific Bootlegger a few times before but, this morning I thought the service deserved special mention.I was feeling quite under the weather due to the rain and cold however, as soon as I entered Bootlegger, I was greeted by a lovely guy who I assume is the manager or owner. He was very friendly and immediately assisted me with my takeaway coffee order. My order came quickly and I walked out a happy customer with my delicious decaf vanilla latte.Thank you Bootlegger for your warm service and hot coffee on a cold day.

We had coffee, baby cupachino, and chocolate cake. All was delicious. It's one of the best coffees I had.The cake was rich and moist.
