What a disappointment! The Press Room canceled our event 1 week before we should've hosted the event, due to too many kids coming". Interesting that they market themselves as a "child friendly" venue

We went there for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Staff is friendly and helpfull.However, if you expect value for money... Think twice. R33 for a black coffee (the coffee was nice) and minimum R160 for a pizza. My wife had a salad. Also overpriced.I believe their prices are pitched far too high and does not compare to their offering.Maybe the holiday makers will que, but as a local I have various options at the same or better quality for a more reasonable price.

Lovely venue for a long lazy (boozy!) summer lunch. Pizzas were excellent, as was service. Only negative - very uncomfortable chairs!

Lovely place to lunch with great coffee. Bookings are essential in season. The staff are friendly and children enjoy the garden.

I was pleasantly surprised today.. the food was fantastic and even though it was raining, the atmosphere was great outside under the 'roofing'. Normally we expect to wait quite a long time for the food but the service today with the food and the drinks was really fantastic. There seems to be new management. We will be back really soon!

I had a chicken salad about 2 months ago and it was the worse chicken salad that I have ever been served. It contained smoked chicken that was refried. The waitress invited me to come again and assured me that their food would be much better when I visit them again. Today I ordered a chicken sandwich with chips (R150! for this dish) The chips consisted of half potatoes, not crisp, soggy and soaked in oil. The chicken breast sandwich was greasy and soggy with fatty bacon and an oily chicken breast sliced in half, overcooked and fibrous. Some of the filler ingredients, the “pickled red onions” was not fresh. Nobody enquired why almost the entire serving was send back to the kitchen. This coffee shop used to be excellent but has only disappointed over the past 3 visits over a period of a year. Sad to say, they won’t see me or my friends from Stilbaai, who had similar disappointing experiences, again.

I am not a big fan of gin, but this was a wonderful tasting experience and the service was excellent. Definitely stop here if you are in the area

service was good and friendly terrible wine list of which only 1 available under white wine option R250 per bottle and thats it for an inferior white unlabelled bottle? with a pulled cork? hve complained before about wine selection but to no avail

Fabulous breakfast! Coffee to make you come back again and again, a New York Deluxe bagel with salmon, cream cheese, basil and avo! My friend had a strawberry bagel, also with cream cheese and fresh strawberries. Food was Superbly fresh, with a lovely atmosphere. Was a bit of a wait but sO worth it.
