Dunkeld Country & Equestrian Estate.
Wonderful country experience! We own timeshare at the Equestrian Estate and we love going there for the entire week. The views from the unit are breathtaking and the quietness makes for a peaceful retreat. Our only complaint, and we have raised it with management, is that there is too much rubbish lying around. Staff drive and walk right past the rubbish but do not pick it up.

Very classy and well equipped housing, lots of outdoor activities to do and overall a very tranquil place for holidaying.

Awesome awesome awesome. We love coming here & spending quality time in nature. The staff are super friendly & helpful. Alwina & her team are stars - all of them! There are loads of activities for the whole family - flyfishing, horse riding, nature walks, mountain biking, archery, absailing, quadbiking & lots more. Breakfast at 1883 or the Equestrian Centre is a spoil & the weekly bring & braai at the Equestrian Centre is always great. The Jazz bar has a cozy fire & that special drink on a typical misty Dunkeld day. There are so much more though - come & experience it for yourself.

Enough outdoor items to keep the whole family busy than fishing or golf! Serene and peaceful. Open spaces. We'll looked after farm.

Absolutely beautiful! We stayed on the equestrian estate and the house was fully stocked with utensils and cutlery. It has a fireplace that works brilliantly for the cold winter days but the bedrooms where like freezers! Maybe some electrical blankets or heaters would make this place perfect. There are gorgeous restaurants and the horse stables where my favourite! The horses are beautiful!

While the property is a little slice of heaven and beautifully picturesque, the food in 1883, the main restaurant is awful. We stayed in the Equestrian Estate and the rooms are beautiful and spacious but the showers have ZERO water pressure and there no hairdryers in the rooms! The stable hands are fabulous and the ladies at reception were really cool too. I’d come back, but make sure I shop in JHB so we can eat at home.
