Engen Vaal 1 Stop West

It is very busy as it is when most will need a stop. The toilets are okay and there is lots of parking. There is lots of stuff to have here. There a person sanitising at the door. The road way paving is good and the staff make themselves available and are friendly. A good stop to make on your way to Johannesburg.

*Filthy Toilets*From the time you enter this establishment you can smell the toilets.This is our third visit and unfortunately it's been a reoccurring problem.Hope management will read this and sort it out.

When I drove in yest afternoon there were just 2 petrol attendants on duty. Two sections of the pumps were closed off with black bins.No lights in the vacinity as you exit towards the N3 to Durban.Restaurants were closed.Huge pothole on the driveway as you enter from the Joburg side. I hit this pothole hard because I just didn't see it on time. Sadly nobody took the time to fix it up.

My experience at the garage was very good. They also have a Audi electric vehicle charging station. But when it gets to the rest not so good. Restrooms was fairly clean the only downer was the family restroom not having a toilet seat. Then we get to the most unfriendly staff at the KFC. Not even greeting you when I changed something on my order the lady shouted in a angry voice that the supervisor must come and void the order. Then my wife went back to ask for a napken but she was flatout ignored while the lady behind the counter looks at her but does not assist her. Then we get to the Wimpy for some ice-cream and recieved the most friendly service. They also have a nice play area for the kids the only downer is that it is situated outside in full sun with no shade.

Staff use baby changing rooms as their personal bathrooms, having a nice poop and leaving us stranded outside with our 1 year old waiting +-20 min for an open changing room and then find the changing room smelling horrible. This happened on both occasions on 2nd of December & 5th December 2022. We asked the staff why they use these changing rooms if they dont have babies and the feedback we got is that the normal bathrooms were to far for them. Completely Disgusted

Wimpy; What a disgusting experience..Coming from KZN..on business trip, stop for hot coffee... The rude attendent;. I asked for coffee...next moment she poured ordinary coffee from a flask. I asked her...This is cold?..cold milk? Priced..R43.? I said i dont want this, please refund me? She refused..and with this experience of Wimpy i will neva stop for any thing there again. Bad Service..Bad coffee, bad attitude... i cant even rate her a full star!!

Lovely clean toilets. Well kept parking areas and easily accessible.A good place to stop.There is also a Wimpy for great coffee.

Will never stop here again, bathroom is in a mess... Broken cupboard is broken when you walk in, looks so Un tidy, was told to use the toilets on the other side of the cupboard.. First toilet, left corner spider webs. Not on.
