Amazing setting, stunning place to stay. Really enjoyed our stay. Only 2 things prevented a 5 star rating is that it would be great to have a couch to snuggle up on in the living room and the bathrooms had a few spider webs, which I think were missed by the cleaners

As a photographer, I recently worked at Raptor Rise in Tulbagh for a wedding and was thoroughly impressed. The venue offers stunning views of the mountains and provides ample space for photography. The staff was accommodating and helpful, ensuring a smooth and memorable day for the couple. I highly recommend Raptor Rise as a wedding venue for its breathtaking beauty and excellent service.

My favourite place to stay in South Africa so far! So peaceful, the scenery is amazing, the wildlife is fascinating and everyone that I've met is friendly and welcoming. The town of Tulbagh feels very safe to walk around with my kids and there is a few decent places to get food - I'll especially recommend the Olive Tree Bistro, had an amazing lunch there!

Very peaceful atmosphere,excellent mountain biking routes,clean and very good quality accommodation, with a very well equipped kitchen and outside furnishings.We had a lovely 2 night stay and would stay longer next time. Thank you Jo for your suggestions.

Located just outside of Tulbagh, this was an amazing find. The hosts were well prepared for our arrival with all sorts of activity lists and attractions in the area printed out for us. The room was clean, well appointed and had a great view over vineyards and the mountains. The pool overlooking the mountains and a grazing area for horses was peaceful and a pleasant place to be. The gardens are gorgeously well maintained. We had a lovely stay and have already recommended raptor rise to friends and family. Would be great as a wedding venue

The tranquility and the scenic views are something to behold. The Barn apartment, which is huge for 2 people, is highly recommended. Secluded, private, and filled with amenities. A fantastic honeymoon stay.
