Little Kubu Lodge

I don't even know where to start! I'll start with Zoe and the rest of the staff, they were all so friendly and helpful and really went out of thier way to make our stay special. The lodge itself and the rooms were so clean, neat and beautifully decorated. The pool, bar and entertainment area were amazing and to top it all off, the breakfast was totally delicious. I'd recommend Little Kubu to anyone who wants a luxurious and affordable stay in the bush!

The great service started even before we arrived. We received a reminder on WhatsApp that they were expecting us on the day of our arrival, kept in contact with us and enquired about our time of arrival. Despite the fact that we arrived after their working hours, we received a video with directions to our room from the entrance.The lodge was spectacular, super clean, comfortable bed and clean sheets - a home away from home.Most importantly, our stay was more worthwhile because by Ty, Kristen and the rest of their team. The most amazing, most friendliest, most professional and most loving hosts we've ever met. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. You will definitely be in good hands with Ty and Kristen.

Stunning place to visit. This was the most beautiful place we visited during our whole trip in South Africa! It’s so stylish, with a very calming atmosphere, and it’s so clean. The rooms are spacious and pretty, with a very nice bath and we had one with an outdoor shower. The breakfast was also great; not just a normal one with eggs, but something more special (fresh scones, toast with avocado and haloumi etc). We really felt relaxed after having stayed here for 3 nights. The host Tyson made us feel welcome and we really felt we left as friends!

Little kubu Lodge was nothing short of amazing. The place is so serene and beautiful. From the minute you walk in you feel at home. Not forgetting our hosts Mr Tyson and his wife who really made sure we had the best experience. The staff made sure our rooms were clean and had fresh towels. The game drive was beautiful and got to see the rhino and the elephant. My partner and I loved every moment and will definitely be going back. ♥️

Our stay in the little Kubu was exceptional by every measure. From the breakfast, to the rooms, to the gracious and kind staff, it was a picturesque and perfect experience nestled right among the African wildlife. A short walk and you’re likely to see giraffes, zebras and so much more. Tyson was an excellent host, would recommend to anyone wanting proximity to Kruger, while still within a town and resort feel. 10/10.

I rarely give a place 5 star as I always believe there is room from improvement however this place lives up to its name, the host is amazing, the extra mile they go to just to make your stay pleasant.The bar, served with honesty, makes you realize there’s still good humanity about there and little kubu is it.And then the breakfast, the best english breakfast I’ve had.Everything here is done with love.Big up Little Kubu.
