Assurity Insurance Brokers

I have not had much need to interact with Assurity Insurance Brokers on my insurance policy. However when I contacted them to assist me with cancellation of my insurance policy with Renasa, they were shocking in not assisting at all and not answering any calls on the single number available to contact them on. I was told that a consultant from their office would have to call me back to start the process of cancellation, as they were moving offices and were unable to assist me. Unfortunately Renasa and BrokerBuddy (the administrator on my policy) did not assist either and merely advised that they would escalate my complaint but that I would need to go through Assurity to cancel my policy. The effect being that I had to email Assurity and Renasa (through the complaints email) and advise of cancellation. I expect that a premium will still be deducted for the next 2 months, notwithstanding cancellation being on a month's notice. Extremely poor service.
