This review is for the restaurant only.After a client visit, we were invited to the Brittania Hotel for for lunch, we were told they had the best Bunny Chow in town and while I have nothing to compare to, it was amazing food! If you ask nicely, they'll make a Bunny Chow with Butter Chicken, it's not on the menu, but it is darn delicious!The only reason I am not giving the restaurant 5 stars is because, we were told the food would take 25 minutes, and it then took nearly 50. I appreciate that the team was busy and that we had a special order, but it threw off our plans and it would have made things easier, had we been told right away.

Greetings to Durbanites & Visitors,Capsicum Restaurant at Britannia Hotel is back on my radar after our visit for supper this evening, Tuesday, 11 April 2023.What a delicious meal! Our favorite... Mutton Bunnies were divine. Mutton was soft & easy off the bone... perfectly cooked & spiced! ... including the sides.The ambiance was very relaxing... really revamped from my last visit.Professional friendly staff added to our chilled evening.Plenty safe parking.Thank You!

Need more staff at the restaurant when there are too many patrons.Mutton curry is tasty and we enjoyed it, might be back again for a take away.Updated review, ordered in and tried the mutton curry and trotters and beans. It had the right amount of heat food was tasty. Even my 18m baby enjoyed the curries with rice. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Service is always terrible. Friday night, kitchen has 3 staff, 4 waiters on the floor. Took guests from Cape Town and America, had to wait 1hour and 30 mins for food.... no manager to ensure efficiency. Food is good, but will not go back.

Food was horrible, just spicy no taste. The meat in the breyani was crispy and burnt not to mention the amount of bones without meat on it. Waitron was cold and not hospitable. Cutlery was old which gave an appearance of been unwashed and bowls served with side dishes were chipped. My first visit here and my last.

It's been while since I ate at the hotel.. famous for its curries ..but I was severely disappointed.. although the restaurant is very cozy and the service incredible but the food was below mediocre... ordered a mutton bunny.. slightly smaller than most places .The curry was bland..few big boney pieces of meat that didn't allow for much potatoes or gravy..hope it goes back to the way it was soon
