Our expensive Hilti drills were stolen a year ago while we were on a job in Roodepoort.This week we got a call from a man who bought one of these self same drills from Beth's Pawnshop in Roodepoort. The drill was malfunctioning and he wanted to repair it at the Hilti workshop. Hilti refused to work on the drill, as it was registered on our name.Isn't it quite clear by now to pawnshop owners, when stolen 'working' tools are brought in???Well a thumbs up for Hilti for trying to protect their customers assets. Can't say the same for care-less" pawnshop owners."
