Beachwood Course

Lovely setting. Enjoyable to play for all levels but for good scoring you need your A game. Wind can be a factor as its adjacent to the shore line. Forms part of the Durban Country Club.

Bluezz had deteriated. Cliental not the same and there is no more class its just the has beens and the old ex distasteful vatta matta croud. No more dressing up or excitement to go to somewhere posh.very sad

Great vibe. Challenging course. Very well priced food, drinks.

A very nice coastal course and the menu at the halfway house is very tasty. Greens run nicely but a bit slow at the moment. A good challenge you should take on.

Awesome place,friendly food is inexpensive and very good and coffee is so nice. Golfers are having a lovely peaceful healthy game of golf

After asking when we booked if the course was doing spring treatment the pro shop said no greens are in good condition. This is what we got.Some tee boxes were patches of sand only. For R455.00 including a cart is day light robbery.I won't play here again, sorry.

Played the course this morning for the first time.Course is in excellent condition. Great value for money. Staff at the proshop were extremely friendly.My caddy Raymond made my first time playing at the course a real pleasure.I will definitely play the course again when I am back in Durban.

The course is unfortunately finished lack of maintenance has destroyed this once wonderful course avoid at all costs

Overall a good course. The staff are very friendly and explain the courses logistics well. They recently had a fire a lost many of their carts, when I took my son to play our rented cart ran out of battery power. A quick call to the pro shop and we had a replacement within a few minutes. The greens need a little work but it did look like work was under way on a few of them to rectify issues. I would suggest not playing the day after heavy rains as the fairways can hold a lot of water and in some cases get completely waterlogged. The clubhouse restaurant seems to be a popular attraction not only for the golfers on the course, tut gets quite busy so expect a small delay I'd you are stopping in for a quick bite half way through your round.Would recommend a round here though it's food fun and a challenging course.
