The guy at the paint section - I think his name is Rayner - is one of the most knowledgeable guys in town. I've been building a pond and he has helped me with great advice over the last few months. Staff there are friendly and attentive in general. The other bouhandel shop is Kleinmond is also good but this place is the best hardware shop in South Africa. It's a reason to love the town and really proud that we have a shop like this.

This iconic hardware store is always well stocked and the staff will go out of there way to assist you. If they do not stock an item, they will try and order the item you need. Well deserved 5 stars.

Small but reliable! If you in Pringle and need hardware or material, then this is your 1st one stop shop. They supply almost everything you need at good competitive prices. Staff is friendly and always helpful with great insight. You have a query, I recommend asking the staff as they are well informed.

Always have a good experience here. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I have gotten some good DIY advice from some of them.Although they don't have a very wide range of products and gadgets on the shelves, they have a bit of everything that you may need to fix or finish projects around the house. Sufficient for a small town store.There is also a small plant nursery, which is reasonably priced.I think they focus more on selling building materials...
