Tip Top Bakery

The service I got was ridiculous and awful, I ordered a cake, sent them an email with the picture , they promised to deliver and baked the wrong thing. On top of that the was a lady there called Theresa who made my experience with tip top bakery the worst. It's ppl like this who drag other people's businesses down and claim to be desperate when looking for a job. I would not recommend it to any one. Terrible experience, wrong order and late for delivery.

I bought a chocolate mousse slice today, Monday 29 Aug, and it was NOT fresh at all. The cake part was dried out and the cream on top not good any more. Why on earth would you just not give away products before it goes ‘off’ rather than to alianate loyal clients by serving them bad products? Please note, your products are expensive AND therefore should ALWAYS be fresh. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Prices are crazy R15 for 1 pancake without filling seems a bit ridiculous to me. Tasty treats but prices are way off. Even a cooldrink is the price of a 2 liter

RUDE Afrikaans speaking lady that works there. Was there today 13 October before 3, cant even hear what she is saying. No client service at all!

Twice now I have placed an order and never received it. The lady that took my order is useless and incompetant. She had the audacity to lie to me and say I never placed the order or the order is at another branch.

Good bakery that makes great cakes. Recommended, but cakes are a bit on the pricey side.

I had a very disappointing experience with Tip Top Bakery. I placed a large telephonic order on Wednesday for a Mother's Day event. I also sent an email after my telephone call to confirm my order. However, when I arrived at the Meyerton branch to collect my order, they had no record of it. The lady at the branch called head office, but they also had no record of my order. I was left waiting while they tried to find a solution. I never received a callback or an apology from the bakery, although the lady at the Meyerton branch was sorry for what happened. She called other branches, and only the Vaal Mall branch had some of the items that I required for the event. As a result, I had to make an unnecessary trip to the Vaal Mall Branch to collect partial items required for the event, which is not acceptable considering that I do not reside in the area. I placed a large order and it is extremely disappointing to receive such poor service. I urge Tip Top Bakery to improve its systems and ensure that orders are recorded accurately to avoid such inconvenience to customers in the future.

Fresh pastries all the way. Not too sweet. But the prices are sometimes ridiculous.

Can recommend their custard slice. Recently added additional sit-down tables.

Excellent bakkery and food. However the staff has a bit of a I do not care"- attitude. So do not hope that they will unpack the newly delivered food and give it to you just because you ask them to"
