It was a lovely night out with friends. Their carrot soup was the best dish of the evening, very closely followed by the chocolate fondant and the vanilla cake.

Exquisite and intimate restaurant, which is perfect for special occasions. I went there to celebrate my birthday. Friendly and welcoming staff. The service was great and our waitress was phenomenal. The attention to detail and presentation of the food was impeccable. I had the short rib and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend it. Overall, I had an amazing experience.

A little piece of Paris in Joburg. Delicious meals , service was good and the decor and space is very inviting and chic. I would recommend the French toast croissantUpdate: I went for lunch over the weekend everything was delicious. The chicken was super tender and the mashed potatoes where smooth and tasty.Highlight was the chocolate fondant

The service was impeccable and there was a great atmosphere. The restaurant was lovely and there were many food options. The starters were delicious (we had French bread with a mushroom topping) . Our glasses were always full and the hostess checked on us often . This was a great experience and this Resturant is highly devoted to its diners .

Lovely cosy restaurant. Food wassomewhat below my expectations but it was overall a pleasant experience.Edit: on a relatively quiet Sunday late morning it took over an hour to bring a very basic breakfast for 2. Won't be returning.

Thoroughly enjoyed Liberte. Food was incredibly good. Booked as part of Resturant week. Three course set menu for R395 per person. Carrot soup was perfect, rich and creamy. Kingklip was fresh, very tender and the chocolate fondant incredibly good. Waiting staff were fantastic, professional and very efficient. Sophisticated atmosphere. Very highly recommended.

Given it as loadshedding and the buildings generator was not functional, I'm sure this had a bad impact on th kitchen. The short Rob was tough as nails, I presume because it could just not spend enough time in the oven.It would be best fi a restaurants reputation to Clos up shop if there is no alternative power, as the bulk of orders flooding in when the power returns makes for poor quality I'm afraid.I don't think it's fair to rate it lower under such conditions - but loadshedding is the new normal, so we have to learn to deal with it for now.Could just be a once off, so don't take my word for it, but it's not a dit for me.
