We stopped by, my first time, and not somewhere I would go back to. We were not greeted and ended us seating ourselves outside under the pepper trees. When we were served, the only food items available where the cakes, etc as they were still getting ready for lunch. We asked for a few minutes to look through the menu and then we sat for about 20 minutes unattended. We ended up just ordering coffee which was actually quite nice. Come time to pay the bill, we were told to go pay in the shop. Although a pleasant day and atmosphere (other than the load of flies), the service leaves much to be desired. I would recommend going elsewhere for drinks and food.

Had an amazing breakfast with a group booking. Atmosphere was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a drive out to explore the little town and its shops. A hidden gem.

What an awesome meal. My springbok shank was perfectly cooked. The waiter was fantastic and well informed about the menu. Because it was cold, we have had blankets. What an amazing lunch. Highly recommended

Pepper Tree is a lovely spot whether you’re seated inside or under the peppercorn tree. The atmosphere is lovely. I had the most delicious almond milk cappuccino. One of the best ✨. A must visit when in Philadelphia, Cale Town.

The atmosphere is delightful!! The food is good but the burgers are a bit dry but the pizetta's are DELICIOUS!!! A must get if your in Philly!

Apart from the scenic drive and cozy vibe, the service was poor. We waited what felt like forever for our drinks and food. People who came after us were served first. The menu has limited options, and the food lacks flavor. Perhaps include a farm breakfast " as we know it

Service and drinks took forever, no meat options available on the menu! Not even bacon..... Very sad indeed for us locals as it seems the clientele they wish to cater for is very much touristy. It's not like I am looking for a piece of steak, but a basic breakfast would do. This place is and was a hidden gem of which I loved to bring family and friends. General advice perhaps is look at the basics instead of trying to cater all green.

Gorgeous restaurant under the pepper tree. Fast and welcoming service with a limited but delicious menu. A special place in this small town and well worth the trip! There is also a small farm stall on the property which some delicious options to take home with you.
