Very comfortable, very clean, quiet at night, nice kitchen, good for working or studying with big tables and strong wifi. TIP: Restaurants in town stop serving food at 8PM, but stay open to serve drinks until late. If you want brekkie or dinner at the hostel, you must order by 3PM so they have time to gather supplies.

Wonderful and friendly staff. The gardens and facilities are well looked after. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very close to Tsitsikama National Park! This backpacker is well worth a visit.

Great value for money, woke up multiple times due to loud noise from the neighbors and a generator that started at 4am.The tent was great with a good and soft bed with 2 mattress heaters included!

It was a ok accommodation,But the walls were super thin so you could hear everything, including the rooms above you and there wasn’t a AC only a small vent. Which was ok for the day but I guess for hotter days might not be enough

The hostel is in a nice spot and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately my room was infested with a lot of mosquitoes and there were insufficient mosquito nets for the people in the room. I did not sleep all night and while I already booked for two nights they refused to give me money back for the second night. The second night I stayed somewhere else in storms river and had a mosquito free night. I would not stay here again.

Neat and tidy, little bunnies hopping outside. I enjoyed the DSTV in the community room. Unfortunately there was no wood fire for the cold night, while there are foresters workers based there. I was lucky enough to have a dormitory all for myself. The kitchen is well equipped and tea and coffee is free.

When we arrived I was pleasantly surprises by the great service from a lady named Bonnie. The rooms we booked didn't look like the pictures advertised, so be specific when booking. Except for that and some hot water issues I was completely happy with our stay, until the last day. The staff were making such a racket whilst preparing their coffee before their shift that we could no longer go back to sleep. I only get one day per month to sleep in, so this was completely unacceptable to me.
