Very expensive Spar compared to others in the North/North West. Many popular items are two rand or more expensive than other Spars. And here is the killer...some items are more expensive here than at Woolworths !!! Pecks anchovy paste is 21-99 here and 18.99 at woollies !! LOL

Always a helpful bunch of staff available and on hand to assist,Especially the cashiers they are always friendly and epitomize customer services! The security always acknowledge you and can tell if you have been away all in all a persolised experience for me. I don't need management to acknowledge me,however they can take a few tips from their staff!

They recently refurbished the whole Steve's Spar Blackheath and it looks great! Neat, clean with a wider selection of liquor and Cigars. Staff is friendly and gives customers room to swing and shop. The security guards are always on alert which reassures safety and security while shopping. Overall, it was a much needed improvement especially for Cigars. Nice.

Nice BIG walkin fridge. Wine selection could be a bit better, but nice and easy store to navigate , including your more premium brands ( for instance don papa rum from the phillipines , not easy to find everywhere )

Excellent service from both security guards, staff and managers. Store supervisor Mr Bond tracked down my facebook account and contacted me about a bag I lost and all my documents were inside when I got it.
