My dog Saba, could have stayed all morning. She loved the warm reception and being fussed over. Then when the vet walked in with a hand full of treats, the exam and jab went ahead totally unnoticed and routine.Thank you.

Thank you Alphen for looking after our baby. What an absolutely amazing experience is was.My dog had a hole in her tooth so I sent an email to Alphen and was told that I can bring her in on Saturday for a free checkup, meet and greet. On arrival we were greeted by the most friendliest receptionists who gave our dog so many treats and even offered us coffee.The Dr then came through and took a look at our dog. Our dog normally shakes and shivers a lot but the vet gave her more treats and she calmed right down. She checked her teeth and did a basic health check. We decided to do a full pre surgery blood panel that same day to see if she is fit for surgery. We also got all the cost estimates upfront for the dental surgery + blood work. When we left we were given a bunch of gifts and treats.Later that day I got a phone call to ensure me that the blood tests look good and that we can go ahead with the surgery from that Monday.When we arrived on Monday, the Dr admitted our dog, ran a few more tests, explained the procedure, explained her blood tests and also gave my dog a calming injection to make her sleepy and relaxed. To see my dog no longer nervous and have no more shivers was the most reassuring feeling in the world.The entire day I knew I did not have to worry about our baby becomes she was been taken care of.Lastly the cost of the surgery was very close to the cost estimate even though they had to pull out 4 more teeth.Thanks very much. I'm glad I found a vet that I can trust.

Unable emotionally to put my recent experience at Alphen into words at the moment, but this veterinary hospital is outstanding in their care of our fur babies...nowhere better! I was shown so much kindness and compassion when my darling girl crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday.

Beautiful place, book ahead to take the kids to see the animals on the last Saturday of every month, lovely way to spend the morning.

Very caring and helpful staff. Would recommend people to go there for their animal's well-being. Was happy to leave a little stray kitten in their care.

I have been to many vets in and around Cape Town. Alphen Vet is the one I have found that makes me feel the most comfortable taking my doggies to. The vets and nurses are professional, kind and understanding. They listen to you and genuinely care for your animals.
