I just want to thank Gem Auto staff from the lady in the office and the technician and the guy in the spares department for their excellent service. I am visiting in Port Alfred and the fuse in my vehicle had blown. I walked into your premises and the staff made me feel so welcome. The technician sorted out my problem within a few minutes. That you all involved I unfortunately did not get your names 5 stars to all of you and 5 stars to your business with service as good as this you can only grow THANK YOU great service

Lerina and Daron from Gem Auto were superb in their service and repair of my Mercedes S350. I could not find anyone in Grahamstown willing to repair and replace an alternator. Fortunately, Daron from Gem Auto in Port Alfred was happy to tow my vehicle back to their workshop where they diagnosed and replaced the alternator within 3 days. I received kind and consistent communication from Lerina via phone throughout the whole process. If you're looking for a Mercedes specialist and great service, Gem Auto is your best bet.

If you drive a Mercedes and don't want to pay crazy dealership prices. Darren is your man. Knows MBs backwards... Saved me >R75k on buying a new ABS pump and Control for ML350CDI which was showing ABS and ESP inoperable fault... Problem diagnosed as speed sensor before it went on the computer ... 2 minutes later, fault confirmed. 30min labour = R240 and R1,000 on the part. Vehicle is good as new...
