Just what we needed after 11 hours on the road. Warm welcome, perfectly cooked steak, hot shower and a good bed with AC. Generous breakfast before checking out.

i would personally recommend The Overlook , its really an amazing space, excellent food, stunning views, and privacy, Chef Eric Husing and his food always inspires you. The place is well situated in Town and very easy to find, few minutes away to the Upington International Airport, making it possible to be on time for your car rental, or even your flight.The Overlook is really beautiful the scenery is magnificenteric is amazing and i can really tell, he is much passionate

Perfect spot to stay when in the Karoo. Excellent rooms with the best view over the Orange River vineyards. Excellent service from the staff and a superb, friendly owner. Well done Overlook!

Beautiful sweeping views accompany comfy accommodation. Very comfortable firm bed and great hospitality from Anna and Eric who go all out to make your stay enjoyable. Lovely pool to splash around in. All over great stop over.

Eric was able to accommodate us at very late notice, and we were thrilled with the place. Beautiful views over the vineyards, a very friendly welcome and a most comfortable overnight stay. Will definitely recommend The Overlook.

Eric is such an amazing host. He did so much to accommodate us. He has interesting knowledge about the area and is passionate about SA Tourism. Eric, thanks so much for all you did for us. We will recommend you to anyone! We will be back for sure!

I love The Overlook!! The property is beautiful, and peaceful. The chalets are perfect, and equipped with everything you need. There is also a family suite. You can either cater for yourself, or have Eric cook for you. I strongly suggest the latter! His Asian cuisine is to die for! There is a beautiful Braai area to use to self-cater as well. If there in the warm weather, make sure you take advantage of the gorgeous pool area. The thatch top deck surrounding the pool is the perfect place to overlook the beautiful surroundings from on top of the hill. Sitting on the patio of the chalets, the view of the vineyards is breathtaking, and be sure to catch the sunsets! The property is safe, and the parking enclosed for security. I can’t wait to get back to Keimoes and the Overlook!
