Strangers Coffee
Went there for a coffee meeting, after having seen it on Instagram. Was disappointed as I had wanted to try their famous Matilda cake, but it was not available. Opted for the cheesecake, and a chai latte, and it was good. Limited menu.

Quaint little gem! They have a limited menu but each item was prepared so well and everything was really fresh! The Matilda chocolate cake was such a pleasant blast from the past!

I visited Strangers Coffee today and I was severely disappointed with the service I received.We went in at 9.45am and placed an order. We also asked the waitress for a glass of water while we waited for our order. We asked for our entire order to come together however, our drinks were served first by a different waiter. We asked him for the glass of water again and if we could order an additional dish. We received our additional order from him but didn't receive our main order. We waited for 45 minutes. I understand that the Cafe was busy but there were other patrons who came after us and received their order. We were basically ignored for 45 minutes. When our main dish finally arrived, we asked the waitress what took so long and she said that there was a delay in the kitchen, my cousin told her that there were people who came in after us and were served and she just said she was sorry with no valid reason. It was my first time at this place and definitely wouldn't go back.

It was so beautiful and rustic inside , service slightly slow but very attentive, food was divine , probably the best if not one of the best brownies I've ever had .

The definition of a hidden gem!!!Everyone comes for the Matilda cake, which fair enough is possibly the best chocolate cake I’ve ever eaten, but the chicken toastie has no right being that DAMN GOOD!!!How do you make a humble toasted chicken sandwich taste like an entirely new experience? I’m not entirely sure but my word do they achieve it.Service 10/10Food 10/10Vibe 10/10Price 10/10

Lovely quaint coffee shop with something for everyone on the menu. I love the coffees and spice Chai. Staff is super friendly and accommodating especially Siddiqa and Mian. Our favorites include the sandwiches mezze platter and the famous Matilda cake.

I def think they should offer atleast a variety of breads to choose from for sandwiches - I find the current only option of sour dough too thick, it sumtines over powers the filling.Asked for som lettuce & cucumber or onion on my salmon bagel, was told they don't keep those in stock- in my opinion they should, well atleast for ppl like me who don't mind paying for the extras to make the meal more enjoyable!Tasty new addition of the egg & sausage breakfast with roti.Their mezzo platter is alwys a winner with me & last 2 times they even got it ryt with draining the oil properly out if the falafel prior to serving.Wanted to tip the person who served us thru out our time ther however was told they can not accept it as its not their table - that made no sense to me as that person served me!
