I love pork and saw the name of the restaurant. Best porki I've ever had! You can't miss out on this one! I'm all the way from Joburg, and by damn son, is this worth the treat! Come on and head over!

Such delicious food! We had a lovely dinner, our family shared several dishes including the pork belly and chicken risotto, all were amazing! Great ambiance and service as well.

A gem of a restaurant where Chef Chris presents a menu which will satisfy hungry locals with a sophistication unmatched in the town.The lack of pretentiousness and great table service belies the sophistication of the dishes and the mastery of Chef.The dryness of the Pork Shoulder was a slight disappointment but Chef left no doubt that this is unlikely to recur.The Duck Mousse was delightful and only lacked another bruschetta to do justice to the generous portion.Our national treasure, Malva Pudding, was subtly infused with the traditional flavours of the cultural mix that makes us South African and the experience left no doubt that this establishment will go from strength to strength and that it is a must visit.

This was such a happy find in Hoedspruit- I would highly recommend! Chris, owner and chef, came over to our table to give some recommendations and chat about the menu- which had just the right amount of options on. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. There is a wide range of local drinks on offer from beers, gins and minerals. The atmosphere was light and warm with the perfectly draped lights and backdrop of the Drakensberg mountains.This spot would be suited for casual dining or celebratory dinners.Not many spots like this in Hoedspruit, in my opinion.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hogfather Pub and Eatery and I must admit that it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the ambiance of the place. The decor was rustic yet modern, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub had a great vibe to it, which made me feel right at home.However, what I loved the most about this eatery was the quality of the food. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were outstanding. I highly recommend trying their pork shoulder.The service was also exceptional; the staff were friendly and attentive and made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable. Throughout my meal, they were always around to offer drinks, make recommendations and answer any questions that I had.Overall, I highly recommend dining at Hogfather Pub and Eatery to anyone looking for a great meal in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The quality of the food and the ambiance of the eatery make it a must-visit for anyone in the area.

Beautiful in the evenings with all the lights. Waiter was friendly and drinks and food didn't take long. Only a few vegetarian options sadly,the salad was amazing!

The food (lasagna) was dry and to much layers. The beef burger was hard and dry. There is not much other choices when you don't want pork. I don't want to recommend this place
