Very beautiful, neat and the staff is very friendly, I will recommend for other people to book here, I had a very pleasant stay.

I will not recommend this place to anyone. When we got there, there was noise of music en we didn't complain as we love music, Saturday the cleaners stole our key and the rooms were not cleaned. We were not allowed to use the kitchen. When we checked out they didnt want to return our R1000 as the cleaners lied to the owner and the owner was very rude refusing to return our money saying guests complained en she needs to refund them for noise. The owner ended up refunding us R700 because of a key that was stolen by the cleaners. Daylight robbery. Never again.

Loved this place, it was very clean, the staff was very helpful and made us feel at home. There is tranquility about the place which we enjoyed very much.

Zesty Guesthouse is placed between the main south coast road and the beach, about 3 to 4 kms from the beach, so don't expect sea views, even at this price. A short dirt road up to Ugu reservoir takes you to a panhandle driveway. We paid R650 per night for room 2, a small bedroom and en suite toilet, basin, shower. TV was SABC 1, SABC News, Supersport 1 & 3, MSmile. WiFi was not offered, I had to ask. There was nothing wrong with it, it was clean and nicely decorated, but we thought it was overpriced. Previously we stayed in room 3 which had a fridge and microwave and was spacious with a lovely big bed, so a year later for a much higher price we expected the same at the least. The property is not fenced and the parking area and panhandle driveway is not well lit, so security is a bit of a concern. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I suggest a 'book' about what is on offer in the area.

I love Zesty... my home away from home when on my business trips to Port Edward. Clean, well run and the gardens is so beautiful.

The place was neat and secured, we felt safe with my friends.

The house was amazing and breathtaking. Pool was CLEAN. Thank you. The bedrooms are (especially downstairs, I hate staircases) something from Top Billing, so modern and inviting. Great place to getaway to

Clean crash pad. Asked for Sunday breakfast on checking-in on Saturday afternoon and were told we should have pre-booked our breakfast.... So no we cannot help you. Definitely not a place to go with children.
