What a great recomendation from a fellow hiker and a find. I finally got there to take my Merrel hiking boot that soles split on Genadendal McGregor hikes. I couldnot get the Vibrim sole i wanted but the replacement seems good and to ensureit holds they stitch it to the boot as well. I shall post on the outcome of the repair following my next 5 day hike.

They did a great job of making new leather handles for my bag. It was a bit of a wait but I assume they had plenty of other projects to get to first. Price wise I’m not sure how they compare but I paid R195 for brand new handles that were securely sewn in and I’m happy with that. Would definitely recommend if you need a leather bag to be fixed.
