Gecko Ridge Wedding Venue

Gravel road to venue is terrible, wedding coordinator was late for viewing, upon leaving we waited for 10 minutes for someone to open the gate, gazebo and reception hall is beautifull and that's the only reason they are getting 3 stars, this is not a 5 star wedding venue.

What can I say......WOW!!!The surroundings are just amazing. You experience this rustic feel, Tuscan-style venue. The overnight facilities, the Chapel with its big solid wooden doors are so clean and spacious, and to mention the church bells that welcome the Bride into the Chapel on her special day, are perfect.The cocktail area is massive for everyone to enjoy their welcoming drinks and snacks and view the nature that surrounds them.The reception area is so beautiful and well-spaced I may add. The verandas receive some attention from the river that curves around them and that running water sound" just makes it more special.I can't remember when was the last time I enjoyed a buffet that much at a wedding and there is enough to go back for seconds. All meals are prepared by the in-house chef

Beautiful surroundings and nice overnight chalets.

Firstly, the roads toward the venue are atrocious. All smaller vehicles, need to drive slowly and carefully or risk destroying their suspension and tires.Secondly, the venue is beautiful. A very homey vibe. The only thing I don't understand is a fireplace that isn't connected in any way sitting in the middle of reception area.Lastly and the main reason for giving 2 stars, the owners wouldn't allow an alternative wedding. They're allowed to have their beliefs, but we would have loved to make use of the venue. So if you're not having a Traditional Christian wedding, consider somewhere else.Edit: My or my friends religion is objectively none of your business. We respect that you don't want other religions practicing on the premises, please respect that I want to inform others of your views.

This is a very rustic wedding. Love the lay of it with a river surrounding the venue which implies a chilli morning but great for Summer weddings. The accommodation is great, bit far from the main venue but it allows a quiet night if the party is still going.

Gecko Ridge, how can we ever thank you enough for making our dream wedding a reality, it was absolutely gorgeous every little detail. It was such a special day thanks to your team. You were all so friendly and helpful and we really appreciate all you guys did for us. I highly highly recommend Gecko Ridge

This exquisite wedding venue is the perfect fairy tale scene that every bride is after. As well as reasonably priced.The food is so good, that you highly consider crashing someone else’s wedding just to get another bite!Angelique and her team are accommodating and so friendly and helpful that any bridezilla would be put at ease.I highly recommend Gecko Ridge Wedding venue!

Was there for a wedding it sure is a beautiful place.

Brilliant place to have a wedding, my friend got married and we have a great time. We can see the outside benches needs a bit of work but everything else was fun and quick. Great food.
