Leather Gallery - Midlands Mall, Pietermaritzburg

Got a leather set a few years ago and the springs are broken, let’s just say this is not grafton Everest but it’s still nice. Overpriced though. Made to feel very uncomfortable in the shop but as brown people we have lived our whole lives like this and we’re used to it. Highly doubt I would ever go back or support this branch.

Lovely sofas but very expensive

Wow, so wonderful to get such amazing service from Leather Gallery Pietermaritzburg. The lady was so friendly and patient. We took around a year to decide which set to buy. Every time we went in, she showed us all the couches again and again, never getting tired of it. At last we chose and am so happy with the product. The leather is hard wearing and comfortable. One of the worst service experiences in my life. Waited almost 7 months for my lounge suite, after they were incorrectly manufactured TWICE! Further problems with scotch guarding.Countless additional issues with staff and terrible communication all round. The furniture quality is good but honestly not worth the torture of such poor service.

Most unprofessional and disorganized business. I bought a clock and coffee table which was not in stock Charleen tells me the truck forgot my coffee table must wait another week . I waited another week the manager or charleen didn't even call me I called them only to be told now the wearhouse is moving I must wait another week. I ask them why did they not call me or communicate with me only to be told in a very rude manner that charleen was off and the manager who was right next to charleen says she does not know anything about it yet I gave them cash for my coffee table. The manager tells me in a very rude manner that she will give me a refund on the coffee table. The conversation felt like we are irrating them by asking about our goods that are paid for. Customers come to give you business not fight or want to cause a problem remember. Due to covid many people lost their jobs be grateful you'll still have one.

The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful in undertaking the transaction, as well as advising on the collection procedure. The couch itself is a high quality, well made two seater with reclining action that works without problems. I will definitely be looking to make future purchases at Leather Gallery because of the excellent service and high quality of products sold.

Bought table and mirror from Midlands Mall 21.03.21 and had a bad experience with salesman and manageress who didnt bother to solve the issue. But spoke to Charlene and my appreciation is extended to you for your professional manner in resolving the issue.You are truly customer orientated.Appreciated

I regret the day I stepped inside Leather Gallery - Midlands Mall. The service is the worst ever, if it is not delays in delivery, it is the store not communicating and one has to run around after the staff seeking answers. I have been waiting for my refund with no luck. I have to constantly call the store to find out about my refund and am told it should have been processed a long time ago, the guy at the store would promise to follow up but nothing has come of it.Leather gallery has the worst service and no matter how good the product is or the quality, it is not worth the trouble...... One can always get better elsewhere. I am livid and I will do everything in my power to make sure everyone I come across does not even think of buying at the store. Leather gallery- Midlands should just close the store because they can't do anything right. As soon as one pays for the product the bad service starts.The worst shopping experience ever,if you want furniture that is of good quality with the best service, try SHF or Coricraft or Homewood.
