Dr. S Moopen & Associates 'Modern Dentistry is PAINLESS'

I have never in my life been to this place yet alone know who they are yet I owe you money? I get calls on a daily from a legal call service saying I owe you R1800.00 ??? Please provide me with the documentation stating that!!! Surely I would have had to sign something when leaving your office stating that I owe you money ! Every time your attorney calls I ask for this and never has it been handed to me yet I still receive calls ??? I will now go public with this and do everything in my power to shame this disgusting place that claims to have provided me with a service. I called the offices on many occasions with no luck in receiving this documentation. I will be taking this further and will not stop just as you have not stopped wrongfully claiming money from a person who lives 50km away from you and doesn't even work in the area of your offices!

It was my first time visiting a dentist and I am so happy with their work done.

I visited Dr Moopen in Vorna Valley because of a very painful tooth, my intention was not to remove the tooth but on my consult he examined the tooth and did an x-ray and explained what was happening in there and why it is important to remove it. I removed a tooth before in Pretoria and the experience was horrible hence I did not want this to be removed. He assured me that this was going to be painless and I do not have to look at dentistry like that again. I went back two weeks after instead of a week, I intentionally arrived 5 minutes late because I was scared and when they called me in I asked for the bathroom first. I delayed this process as much as I could but I knew it had to come out as I was in pain. I went in to the room and he extracted the tooth and I kid you not I felt the pressure as he mentioned before that I will feel him taking it out but there was no pain at all. After I rushed to clicks to get pain killers so I can get home quickly because I thought when the numbing injection gets finished I should be home and sleeping, I slept when I woke up I thought the injection is still there as I didn't feel any pain, I touched my cheek but I could feel its not numb anymore but there was no pain. I could not believe it, I am so thankful for him and the prices are so affordable I would definitely recommend him to anybody. I am very happy, he is very patient and he just gained a loyal customer and I am definitely going back for more services. Indeed it was Painless

He continued to drill my tooth though I told him I was feeling excruciating pain. I then asked him to stop then he injected anaesthetic and asked me to leave the room so he can work on another patient in that time. Very rude doctor and doesn't care to properly prevent or manage patients' pain.

I have been with Dr Moopen for well over 10 years and have also on occasion had appointments with the two younger Doctors Moopen. Dr Moopen is contracted in to medical aid, has a policy of as little pain as possible and is incredibly patient and professional. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending both the Vorna Valley and Woodmead practices. Thank you for your service doctors!!

I have no qualms had an amazing experience

Dr has horrible bedside manners. I would suggest go to another dentist , he is not worth the waiting time. He is a Dr for money, not for what he signed up for.... TREATING PAITENTS WITH CARE ... mind you I went to another dentist after he messed up, and I had a total different experience and I saved a tooth.

Great service very professional. I have never been on e to trust younger dentists with my teeth because most young dentist rush and forget that we clients feel pain and are still human. i had a root canal done, and the Dentist was gentle and diligent.
