Meerendal Boutique Hotel

Thank you to Michelle & Eurika for a warm welcome. The setting of the room between the trees & vineyards, together with a private patio, was amazing. We also enjoyed our meals at Bossa on the premises, as well as the wine tasting experience. We loved the vibe of Meerendal, especially on Saturday morning with all the families & friends using your grounds for walking, cycling, etc. An overall pleasant experience.

Room had no hot water service not on standard

Lovely hotel and beautiful wine farm. Unfortunately inconcederate neighbour's made our anniversary night out one we will remember .... Also guest should not be allowed to have hen parties from 6 in the morning.

My Wife and I got married nearby to the Hotel and booked into their Honeymoon suite for our wedding night. The facilities we're exceptional, their Grounds are truly magical and the management & staff we're warm, friendly and accommodated our every request. Simply brilliant!!

Although we only spent 1 night we enjoyed both restaurants and the wine tasting experience. Set in the vineyards, you can stay in the garden suites, which we did, the Manor House or even self-catering cottages. Super relaxing, amazing staff and a gorgeous setting make this hotel a great stop over. There are also a lot of bike trails for the more enthusiastic, but we preferred to laze around the restaurants and the room.

2 night stay for me and my Mrs. Lovely rooms with a glorious bed ensuring a good night's sleep. Didn't see too much of the estate because of our schedule. But, I'll be back...

Roof of room semillon leaked inn when it started to rain.The water coming out of the bathtub is brown and rusty.....it seems that the pipes and or geyser are old and rusted...so you can't use the bath the bathrobes become brown and dirty if you do that.You also taste the rust in the water if you brush your teeth.Their Wines are not the most enjoyable wines. They should get some help in to create a more drinkable wine that is softer on the pallette and that is more affordable. Also redo the wine tasting area....it is definitely not cosy and client friendly .lastly the chef in the kitchen does not know how to turn that awfully oil drenched onion rings into eatable crispy and nice onion rings.Although I love your farm , the mountains and surroundings, I don't think I will return for another visit.

Beautiful hotel in the vineyards near Durbanville. We stayed here on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful dark wood and wooden windows, a very large bed and a fantastically large bathtub. The wine estate and hotel is a very special place and we loved our night there. We also enjoyed the walking trails on the vineyard which had great views. Needless to say the wine was also lovely!There are two restaurants on the same property that are a convenient 10-second walk.
