Hiked the Nadia's peak trail, though but rewarding, the two dogs that joined us was super cute

If you're looking for a bush experience not far from JHB then this is it.Rooms were very clean and welcoming, private braai area was lovely and the pool was great

Dae plek is lekker am telling you, when I arrived i find whites only and the was other one performing in Afrikaans but bona they welcome us with a big smile staff are friendly, rooms were clean, swimming pool we really enjoyed ourselves and feels at home.

Although it might seem harsh giving a 2 star rating it is justified. We received a remote for a tv but there is no tv in our room only the decoder... Our ceiling fan did not work and in December that is a bit inconvenient. We also did not have hot water to fill the bath nor did our kettle work. I know this review might seem as if this place is terrible but it is not it has a lovely atmosphere and the roo.s are really nice i just think that we might have gotten a neglected room.

We arrived on the Saturday afternoon. Checked into our room. Later that evening we were called to tell us we were in the wrong room. There were so many cockroaches in the room. The bath had weird marks around the jets. Decided to not use it and rather held the shower head up to use. We let them know we needed to check out early. They assured us that there would be someone to be there to give the key to. Next morning there was no one to let us out of leave the key with. We had to leave it at the reception door, park the car outside the gate and run from the reception to the car before the gate closed (we were given a remote for the gate but it needed to be left behind)

Great service at reception went to book but unfortunately I had to cancel my stay to personal reasons.

Jaun and his wife Melanie with the barlady Odélia are the best service we receive in a long time. Will always come back here for the best personal services ever. Thank you guys you are a excellent team

We were only there for 1 night and it was an interesting experience. The lodge is very reasonably priced compared to other accomodation in the area. Regrettably there was a lot of load shedding and the rooms are not kitted out for it. There is a single candle in each room.The rooms are very nicely furnished with some very cool fixtures. The furniture has seen better days though. The Ndebele rooms are circular houses comprising of a single room with some seating around the television. Note that the jacuzzi is in the same room as the bed. Some rooms have hand held showers and others do not. A small wall seperated the small kitchenette from the bedroom and has enough cutlery for 2 people. The toilet is seperated from the main bedroom by a similar wall. No doors so privacy is non existent within the house. The Ndebelehe doors was secured with small padlocks from the outside and tiny bolts from the inside. Coming from JHB, these security measure did make me nervous but it was an uneventful evening even with a few people crunching around on the gravel walkways late into the evening. The windows have wooden slates and no glass to add to the rustic design. A sure entrance for the creepy crawlies. Each house has a small braai area. There is a small pool on the property.We unfortunately weren't there long enough to enjoy the bar and restaurant facilities or try out the walking trail.The nights are pitch black and the minimal light pollution allows a great opportunity to try out some star trail photography.The owners were friendly and hospitable.It was overall a very lovely and rustic experience.

Stunning place and excellent service and the owners pay private attention to their customers and patron. Food was lovely . Cannot wait to come back in the spring and summer seasons here.

I was lied too and ignored because i checked out early and they are trying to keep mt money so they ignored me. The room was extremely uncomfortable and i tried to be nice about this place but after getting ignored i am now very upset. Very poor service to think they can just ignore a person because they don't want to do a refund
