Beautiful rustic old farm house with modern touches - a haven away from the bustle & noise of the city. Well equipped for a family or group of friends. Massive scenic garden for kids and dogs to play & run around. Would recommend traveling in a high clearance vehicle as the path to get there is rough but once you there, you'd never want to leave.

While driving towards this breathtakingly beautiful place, I realized that this is exactly the type of place where I would want to live. It is far enough from and close enough to life as we know it. Huge well aged trees, mountains, birds ... all nature has to offer in one place and having the privilege of being able to spend quality time here really opens up your mind.I decided on a road trip to get myself back, because I'm one of those who tend to lose myself from time to time and it's exactly what I needed.Thank you so much.... I will be definitely want to come back here, it is the recharge I believe needed to appreciate life again.Lots of love ❤ Martina

The complete antidote for the rat race. Secluded enough to turn off the noise of every day but close enough to sight see through the southern berg.The house is perfect for large groups and extended familes.

We had an amazing experience, the cottage was fully equipped, comfortable, clean and most beautiful. The staff absolutely friendly. The host Robyn was most accomodating, friendly and very helpful. I will definitely go back

Beautiful old farm style rock house. Very spacious, newly renovated with awesome furniture. Huge kitchen with everything and anything - can even bake biscuits etc. Designer bathrooms. The host is caring, friendly helpful and goes out of her way to make your stay lovely. We enjoyed the scenery and garden, albeit winter! Walks to the dam and river and my hubby trout fishing the dam. In the mornings we sat in the sun having breakfast on the little verandah, afternoons on the large verandah sunning and at night we enjoyed a hot fire ( a new experience) in the large living room. Wood was provided, thanks.I loved the sheep around and got a chance to bottle feed some orphaned lambs, as it is on a working farm. Birdlife abundant. I cannot wait to go back!!

Absolute paradise! The house is beautiful and gardens breathtaking! On site dam just as lovely for fishing and canoieing and 5 barbecues make it even easier to enjoy the outdoors at this gem of a place.

We are in awe of House at Glengariff!We celebrated my husband's 37th birthday here in this charming, peaceful, most beautiful farm house we have ever been to. This place is a garden of eden. A real treat and home away from home if you are from the bustling big cities. Picture perfect infact!The house itself is full of everything you will ever need in excess ...trust me....EXCESS! The host Robyn has left no stone unturned in fully equipping this massive home...yes, MASSIVE! The views, and comfort areas screams at you from all area of this house, inside and out. The beds a huge and the most comfortable I have ever slept on . We will certainly return with the rest of the family on the next visit. This place is definitely Value for money aswell. A beautiful retreat. Very remote and signal is pretty bad but Robin who was our host was amazing and so was Renalda, the cleaning lady. She absolutely kids/babies is was great with the little ones. The house is beautiful, very large with all the facilities you need. Lots of braai stands and an amazingly beautiful and enormous garden. Very serene. We absolutely loved it here as a family retreat. Thank you for the lovely stay. The babies also got to play with the baby sheep.
