Berghaven Weddings and Self-Catering Cottages
Berghaven is not what we expected! It's so much more. Stunning location and premises that we spent an entire day by the lake and walking through the forest. It's so close to everything in winterton and the cottage itself was perfect. I'm so glad we got to stay there for almost a week. I would definitely recommend Berghaven. Can't wait to go back.

What a wonderful place. When we arrived, we were greeted and welcomed by name by Estelle. We stayed in a cottage overlooking the dams, beautiful views. Highlight was catch and release fishing, a total of 8 fish were caught over 4 days. Lovely walks thru the forest. Had a mushroom tour thru the forest which was so interesting. Can't wait to return. Highly recommend

Berghaven Cottages, unlike most of the other accommodations in the area have found the right balance between nature and development. One can relax and enjoy views of the lakes, birdwatching is great with wetlands providing perfect habitat for some special species, a forest walk and open grounds to enjoy. One can simply enjoy peace and quiet. The accommodation is comfortable, well equipped and reasonably priced. Estelle and the staff are all very accomodating, friendly and welcoming. A place we will continue to return to.

Best place we've stayed at in South Africa!!! Absolutely loved everything about the accommodation. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is gorgeous and the rooms have everything you need to feel comfortable. Amazing shower and bed, beautiful views. We have nothing but great things to say about this place. Would love to stay again someday!

We absolutely loved our stay at Berghaven Cottages ! Perfect spot to relax & enjoy nature . The views & scenery is magical . We loved watching the sunsets by the dam & having walks through the forest . It’s in the perfect location too ... Close to hiking spots, & golf courses nearby . Thank you to the staff who were so accommodating & just lovely .

I had a wonderful time at Berghaven. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The view of the dam and the mountain is breathtaking. I would highly recommend a stay here!

I really loved it there. Beautiful scenery, peaceful, well looked after, clean, well-equiped, and close to surrounding tourist activities. Truly a place where you can recharge your soul. I would definitely recommend this place.The serene scenery also makes for an excellent wedding venue.

A real hidden gem in the central berg! The chalets are very well kept. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Perfect views of Cathedral Peak and the surrounding mountains. The perfect get away for anyone wanting to escape to the berg for peace and quiet.
