I was very disappointed by the customer service at this store. I went in to cancel my landline and to ask to be put onto a better Fibre plan. The person serving me actually started off being friendly, although he didn't seem to know what he was doing. He then called another employee to help. I had filled out the cancellation form but was really interested in the plans they could offer. This new assistant, came over without greeting me, sat down and started flipping through the Telkom brochure. I was then asked if I knew what plan I was on - even though they had my details - to which I confessed I didn't know. They then looked at each other and one of them said 'clueless'. I kept my cool and remained as friendly and patient as possible, even though they seemed to be doing me a favour by helping me. Loadshedding struck and the system went offline - this I was only told this when after 5 minutes of them ignoring me I asked what was going on. I then waited another minute watching them flipping through the brochure before asking when they would be back, I got a surly response in that it would take 25 minutes. By then I was out of patience. These employees were clearly badly trained and definitely 'clueless'. They couldn't help me, which is why they behaved so badly. I think they were wishing I was going to just go away so they could continue doing nothing. There was no evidence of proper customer service or training. I think I may be done with Telkom altogether, after being a loyal customer for over 30 years. I have always supported Telkom and sung their praises but not anymore. My son was with me and couldn't believe the attitude and poor service. he even commented on the fact that I remained as friendly and patient as possible. Train your staff Telkom - this is not acceptable.

I went to Telkom Rosebank with a problem Telkom Head Office could not solve for more than 4 months. The staff are incredible friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Jabulani, your assistance and patience was incredible. You fixed the problem, and proved that customer service is still important. Well done sir, my faith in service is restored.

Absolutely Amazing service from Sheron. Above and beyond. Needed to sort a query out in my account before I could get my new phone. Done over the weekend. I got a follow up call this morning saying it's all sorted and my phone is ready. I was in and out in 29 mins. Well done Telkom Rosebank

Bad experience. Cannot get through on their landline and they do not have a mobile number to use. Desperately trying to contact them before I drive there and find they cannot help me!~!

Maybe it's because I went during off peak hours but the service was surprisingly quick. I had a problem with my phone and an agent promptly directed me to a consultant who immediately assisted me with my query. She quickly did some troubleshooting and resolved the issue.

Went in to the store to cancel a contract yesterday. Was assisted by a reasonably friendly and apparently efficient service agent. Was then told that the system was offline, and that he would sms/whatsapp a confirmation to me. More than 24 hours later, and not a word. Initial impression good, but this is fading fast.... Also, the landline number listed on the website etc. is constantly engaged/out of order, so essentially this store is not contactable except by making the effort to physically go there again - unfortunately, this reinforces the general impression of the hopelessness of Telkom.

Basically I had an issue involving incorrect billing however when I spoke to an agent they essentially just kept trying to explain to me that I must be wrong and the bill must be correct before directing me to a phone to call billing (which resulted in being put on hold for 30 min just to get a ref number). The agent was polite but I really didn't appreciate the seeming lack of interest in figuring out my problem. Instead I feel that they just tried to convince me that I didn't have a problem.

the most unhelp rudest store. They passively pretend they want to help but majority of the staff are either lazy or genuinely incompetent. I can assure you, service can never be worse than Telkom’s.

Telkom, Rosebank Mall is on my doorstep, so convenient. Service however, doesn't exist. The 'consultants' act as if this is their holiday destination. If they were paid for productivity, they would have to pay Telkom.
