Sanddrif Holiday Resort, Cederberg

Nice place. Grass is green and lots of trees. Beautifull locationMy complaints.Pity management drives some mornings in their bakkie into park, make a u turn and drive out. Barhrooms are ok, but at R500 per night, surely you can improve a lot with cleansingness. Sewage over flows the one morning, nobody bothers to respond and inform campers , except the lorry arrives 24hrs later.. Really!!Nice and peacefull place yes, pity tractor comes early early morning to empty dirtbins, and again in afternoon when everyone relaxes.. By the way , for such a big place.. U only have one type of recycle bin per item.There's lots more.. Staff hang around all day, we eould appreciate a little privacy.... But if only management would get out, and take a walk.. And say to urself, would I come and shower in the old blocks, nowhere to put something on, would you appreciate the toilets.Management,,, Just make a wee bit of an effort....

Wonderful and peaceful. Great place to recharge batteries after a tough year. Our 2nd visit and we will be back

The campsite looks lovely and green and full of people.We didn't stay at the campsite as it was fully booked, but did an overnight hike to Wolfberg Arch.After paying R220 each for the overnight permit we were charged R100 per person to drive the car though the campsite, leave the campsite and park at the start of the wolfberg hike.We knew that we would have to pay sanddrift to park the vehicle but R100 per person to be on the mountain all night and day seems a bit ridiculous.

Great place. Unfortunately the hot water showers are not pressurized and shower water flow is erratic. Sadly there are no emergency lights or candles when Power outages occur

I have had the privilege to camp here twice. Each time was just amazing, and I will definitely visit again. There is no doubt about it. The only downside is the gravel road in, but it is worth the slow drive. The ablution facilities are well kept and clean. The camp spots next to the river are amazing. The fresh air next to the wolfberg cracks is just something to experience. If you are looking for a camping spot for friends and family, this is definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely love this place! There's so much to do and see. I definitely recommend this place if you are super adventurous and love the outdoors. It's an amazing way to escape from the city.

My father and I really enjoy going on trips throughout the Cederberg, and we almost always camp at Sanddrif. The site itself is quite serene and picturesque. The bathrooms are also really nice, and there are plenty of hiking trails around.

The western ablutions very urgently need some new ambitions. Was also blocked up when busy...But excellent otherwise, a must see!!
