Sunny Rock

Rooms are on 1st floor and as prev. guests mentioned really, really hot as there is no ventilation. It was even raining when we were there but still unbearable heat. Rooms looked clean from far but not clean to the touch, didn't really want to touch anything. We had cockroaches too like previous guests. The rock pool and lapa looks nice but we didn't have time to swim. Not so easy to find, GPS's on 2 different phones were continuously getting lost because of the location, one took us up a really horrific dangerous mud road. No signage at gate so could not find the venue even when at last we were right there. Couches and cushions are grimy and sticky and need a proper steam clean. Sorry but we won't be back :-(

I wouldn't go anywhere else but here! Everything from the the salty warm air, the rock pool, the relaxing lapa... I could honestly just go on. I have been going to Sunny Rock for years and have never been disappointed. Tom, the owner is so welcoming and will make sure your stay is pleasant. He will always guide you where to go, tell you about activities in and around Southbroom. The best part of Stay at Sunny Rock is that everything is so close by. There is never long distance driving while you are there on holiday. Best place to unwind. Cant wait to go back again.

We have stayed here many times and each time has been amazing. Thomas is very friendly and always willing to help. The property is beautiful and close to the beach. The perfect getaway!!!!

Extremely dirty and cramped space for a family. Cockroaches in cubbards and no basic utilitise such as bathroom towels/mats. Bathrooms were filthly and dusty couches. Funiture is extremely old and near broken. Hot water not even turned on upon our arrival as well as the fridges werent working. All round bad experience l....

The place is peaceful when you need a place away from the noise then this is the one. The rooms are very hot but atleast there are fans in the rooms (aircons would be nice though).

Sunny Rock was such an amazing get-away. My husband and I spent 7 days at the accommodation , the weather was amazing. The rock pool was so warm, we even swam in the evening . We were able to braai under the beautiful Lapa. The units were so homey and clean. It's so peaceful and quiet. We definitely got away from our busy lives and enjoyed the sounds of nature around us. The beach is only a 2min drive from our accommodation. I definitely recommend everyone to stay at Sunny Rock.

Tom is sure a host.. very welcoming! Great venue... Aircon maybe a thought and needed would help! Central... relaxing pool... outside bbq facilities! Beds and bedding tired...

Nice place but it needs a bit of maintenance. Too many cockroaches, stains on the sheets and water coming out of nowhere in other rooms.This is the very same Sunny Rock that i went to and yes I am commenting on the correct establishment.

What a lovely place to spend time with friends and family. The owner is a remarkable person and the environment is really chilled. It was such an awesome experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
