On the 22nd of December 2020 me and my partner adopted this beauty Klara. She has grown sooo much in her personality and not even a month with us and it feels as if she has been with us forever.Soooo much love to give and just a bundle of joy to us.

The foundation is situated on a farm just off the N7 between Cape Town and Malmesbury. The staff and volunteers are doing an absolutely stellar job looking after dozens of homeless dogs and cats, in fact at the time of our visit there were over a 150 dogs at the shelter. These animals are housed in a number of fenced yards. Staff are super friendly and eager to help. We were given an hour tour of the facilities. Our guide was able to describe each of the animals we were visiting, in detail, including their ages, personalities, social skills, and how they came to live there. Many of these animals are available for adoption, and the staff goes to great lengths to assist applicants in finding their ideal companions and help to socialise them with your pets at home. They eagerly accept donations of not only food, but also a variety of other goods for the benefit of the animals. The facilities whilst a bit rough are well kept, clean and tidy. The animals are well looked after and are given every medical care to get them in peak health. Every dog gets walked in the forest, at least once a week, and they even sometimes get taken to the beach for a walk.

Love this foundation. The staffs dedication and love for animals is amazing. Constantly improving the venue and accommodating more and more fur babies. There is also a cattery here with over 300 cats! All animals are always clean, happy and well taken care of whenever we have visited. Company volunteering are also welcomed here.We are loyal volunteers and donors here!

It is the best rescue centre. It is so organized, you can go and walk the dogs on Saturday mornings and then maybe go inside the cattery. Alex the owner is such a sweet, honest woman. You should definitely check it out and donate R10.
