I waited over 4 hours for the guys to arrive. Everytime I phoned they promised to be there within 1 to 1h30.They advertise R450 for blocked drain. I get a bill for R750. No estimate given. Did they think they could rip off a pensioner? Shame on you.

Bad service, got given a rate of R450 for 30min then R750 per hour there after, they were here to sort out a blocked drain, they could not solve the problem (At all), they did not have enough rod and equipment to do the work. Wanted to charge me for absolutely no work done.Even left sewage at my front door, did not even atttempt to clean it.Wanted to charge an additional R4000Boss of the company was rude and got personal.Offered to pay them R1200 to get the work done, at a flat rate.and if further works needs to be done, give me a quote and I will send to landlord to get approved.I would not suggest them at all.They even contradict their own website and O thats not on our website"Stay AWAY"

Quote is less over phone but end up paying R500 more.Nope would not recommend.Yes and waited for payment

I called DrainCo to clear a drain, mostly because they advertised that they were cheap, and when I called they said they could come that day. They cleared the drain quickly but charged more than was advertised on their web page (which I didn't really have a problem with although this was not communicated before they did the job).The big problem was less than 3 weeks later my drain was overflowing again. I called the company and asked whether they guarantee their work and they said no. I called another company who did a much more thorough job).In the true tradition of 'you get what you pay for' this company is cheap (but more expensive than on their website), and the solution will not last.

The company drainco did some work for me. 3 months down the line, the pipe got a leak again. I paid R1450 in labour's and material cost. I called back on the 1/11/2022 ,Firstly they couldn't find the invoice. After sending them the copy of the invoice, they mentioned to moved to JHB. Very unprofessional.Now I have a leaking pipe and R1450 wasted.Don't use their services!!!

Do not recommend at all.I called this company to look at a blocked drain in our house. They arrived promptly but said they could not unblock and that I should call Municipality. They however billed me for the full service of unblocking drain- I refused to pay this and they halved the invoice.I called Municipality- turns out the Drain Co people only opened one drain in my house and didn’t open the second.What a rip off! They also refused to be paid only for problem finding and wanted full service fee as if they have unblocked the drain.

Initially happy with the service, but they did not keep to their commitment for paperwork required to submit our claim. Had to get another plumber out to re-do the assesment. Waste of money.

Scammer Alert!Please people, read the reviews!I wish I did before I called DrainCo. Arrived promptly to fix, stood around for 2hrs used the machine for 5min, discussing, on the phone and walking around as if trying to figure out something. Charged 1.5k for the 2hrs of nothingness, refused to leave property without the payment. Insisted problem was with joburg water(this might be the general scam they tell everyone and collect any min fee, imagine to spade up 10k per day on this scam).Joburg water arrived the very same day to find the problem in the property, so we had to get another plumber to fix the same job!

Paid for work on site and the guys left the tap with a significant leak and refused to come back to resolve. Unprofessional for planned work. Perhaps they are better for emergencies
