Beautiful, quiet lovely estate.

Barry Burn Lodge at White River Country Estate, so named after that nasty burn that runs through Carnoustie links in Scotland. Well maintained 8 sleeper house, that overlooks the 17th Green of White River golf course. Our golf group spent a whole week here and thoroughly enjoyed our enjoyed it.

What an estate in the heart of Nelspruit! Went there to work, but its such a very nice place. Well secured and safe. The golf club is just superb. Very green and beautiful estate.

I have no experience but have dreams of becoming a chef so if I had a chance to work or learn at your hotel or restaurant I'll give it my best

The registration process at the gate is tedious but i appreciated that it's all done for my protection .. security lady was great

Located on the edge of town, it's a great estate to be in. The houses are decently large and there is a lot of area to walk.Staff are not very friendly, but are professional which makes it seem they are not really interested in the customer.It's a great place to stay for a holiday with friends and / or family.

Paradise lovely nature setting. If you like Golf well great golf course. Safe to do walks. People on the estate very friendly

I will be reviewing my stay and the management of Wolhuter house at DaGama lake. In my opinion. Not to be harsh or scathing. But constructive.I enjoyed my stay at Wolhuter house at Dagama lake, don't get me wrong the view is amazing. Rooms were nice*. The attractions in MP are breathtaking, the people are nice. But and this is a huge but, it wasn't communicated properly to expect power outages when it storms. I stayed there twice this year, each time having electricity issues beyond Eskom. When I originally asked my point of contact about power outages she made it seem that all we had to contend with is Eskom. Which is understandable and unavoidable. What she didn't tell us is that when storms hit the area the power goes out. Sometimes for days. DAYS. I also didn't feel like the fact that we were staying in darkness, having no phones charged ergo no GPS, having food rot inside the fridge, was a priority to them. Having food rot and be thrown away feels so wasteful. If we had known about the erratic electricity I don't know if we would have changed our minds in staying there. Maybe made different decisions in regards of having solar chargers or buying food every day instead of onceoff to be refrigerated... Honestly though it's peaceful and the air is so fresh. It really makes you feel like you're out in the wilderness, especially considering those times when you don't have any electricity, lol. If I were reviewing Wolhuter house by itself I would give 4 stars. Since this review is based on the management of the place and the erratic electricity only 2 stars.* Need to mention that my first night this visit the sheets were creased. Made the bed feel slept in. The couch is also a lumpy mess.
