Good overall. Store isles just a bit narrow especially around the toiletries area and if there are long queues waiting to pay it blocks the other Iles as well...

Checkers Castle Gate is all in one store, love buy from them price are good and you always find what you need. Month-end can be problematic with long shopper queues and too little cashiers. Customers that shop monthly shopping leave the full trolley and walk out.

I recently purchased a steak from Checkers, and it was a complete letdown. Despite being within the expiration date, the steak smelled like rotten eggs, indicating poor quality control.The vacuum-sealed packaging failed to preserve the freshness. The steak was discolored, slimy, and unappetizing.It's evident that Checkers lacks attention to detail and neglects quality control. I strongly advise against buying meat products from them. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment; look elsewhere for better options.

Pretty good, always clean and stocked. Can get a bit busy though.As with most Checkers (not just this branch) just dont buy the meat. Just opened a nice TBone i bought here and not even my dogs want to go near it.

My favorite checkers really making a massive difference to the shopping experience. Need to cater for a family or large group and not sure what beverage to serve? The interactive display screen gives you meals and pairs it with complimentary beverages. The bakery has a wide variety of freshly baked goods that has your mouth watering like a fountain. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store clean and fully stocked. Definitely the place you want to stop off for monthly or occasional shopping.

Great selection. They have a variety of products for sale. The Hot foods section has some good options for a bite on the go. They regularly have sales as long as you have the Xtra Save card. The queue are usually not too long.
