Other than me getting an insane sunburn, which is entirely my own stupidity the place was awesome. Wide open beach and for a change not overrun with luxury homes on every open piece of ground. So if you looking to chill, it's perfect.

We have family in Reebok and when we visit we prefer grootbrak beach over any other beach. The lagoon is the perfect temperature to be in the water all day long. It is also child friendly and

Very underrated beach. Its is an amazing place to take the kids as there is a shallow river flowing into the ocean which they can swim in. Not very busy as tourists tend to prefer Mossel Bay. Bring some cash with to buy delicious soft serve at the parking area or a chip n dip. The beach is close to the N2 leading to George.

Great Brak River is a charming little town located on the southern cape coastline. Beautiful beaches, a river for water activities, excellent restaurants, hiking trails, public Gardens, and friendly locals.

Beautiful beach town with a lagoon , art galleries and food stops. A stone's throw from nearby George airport and Mosselbaai harbour town it offers both tranquility, variety and is easily reached by plane.
