They dont offer Maps at the gate anymore you have to buy a book that cost over 100 buck to get 4 pages of kruger park Maps inside the book. Friendly receptionist though.

We encountered big group of elephants family(11am) and buffalos(6:55pm).Satana rest camp Restaurant was excellent as well.

This gate is made up of two parts: when going into the park, you first get past the official entrance gate with the petrol station. Then you drive on and just before you enter the actual park, you get past some shops, a reception and a coffee place.All nicely done.When ordering a cappuccino at the barista place, I recommend you request and extra shot of coffee - unless you like a very milky coffee of course…

Lost of sightings at this gate, we saw lions on the way out... Next day in it was elephants and giraffes

The staff are professional & friendly. They were efficient and fast, even though they were busy (long weekend). A good gate to enter for prime game viewing experience.

Friendly efficient access control.Seems the access roads are also safe if you travel via Hoedspruit.

It is very busy at this gate. Maybe have a look at getting more people to assist with the admin side to get the lines outside moving faster. The toilets are not as clean as they should be. Possibly get someone to clean more often, seeing that the gate is so busy. Otherwise everything else was great
