An out and back route on trail and tar. You run past the Halls orchards which was quite nice. The best part was going over the river via a bridge. There's lots of parking.

A fun activity for the entire family.This mixed track of gravel and tar starts out just opposite the Hall's Gateway on the N4. The track takes you up an initial moderate incline through Macadamia trees, across a bridge over the N4 and then leads you past the original fruit processing plant and post office of Mataffin. You will also pass a dairy farm and finally cross the Crocodile River.The track is approx 5km and is an out and back trail.

A nice, easy one! Good pathways and roads to run on and not too steep anywhere. Enjoyable through the orchards.

Addictive way to get going early on a Saturday, get closer to nature, potentially bond with your family and maybe even get a little exercise done. And it's FREE as well. Run with the good will of sponsors and volunteers this is a great event.
