I was delighted to find Jeauval Salon is still available in Somerset West.I'm an old client from Johannesburg days.The salon is situated behind the art gallery and butcher shop. I struggled to find it, despite Google maps.Clinton is one of a rare stylist, who listens and then produces the goods! His focus was on my hair, face shape, my coloring and my age. He was honest and cut and colored my hair exactly as we discussed. I now have the stlye I wanted, and not an interpretation of what he thought I needed.The salon is relaxed with friendly staff. Not overly priced; good products.The best find ever!

I’ve been going to Jeauval for a few years now and I’m extremely happy with my hair. Jarian is very talented and always delivers. His wife is the sweetest and I always feel great going there to get my hair cut.I also often get stopped and asked where I get my hair done which is a testament to how good this salon is. I highly recommend.

Stay with me - this review might be a little long. First of all, my hair can be frustrating. It's straight in some parts, wavy in others and curly here and there with a couple of cowlicks thrown into the mix. As usual, when I go to a first appointment with a new hair stylist I take pictures with me of styles that I like. Clinton at Jeauval impressed me from the start and this is how: 1) he really looked at the pictures I brought, 2) his remarks about one picture told me that he had noted both my hair type and (more importantly) my face shape, 3) even with multiple clients in the salon, he never rushes and takes the time to make sure you're happy with your look when you walk out the door, and 4) at my next appointment, he remembered what he had done and why. Most importantly, I have a cut and style customized for my hair and that makes all the difference.
