Our wedding was everything we dreamed and more, thank you to Jess and her team!We went into the planning process expecting everything to be a bit daunting and stressful - we knew how many decisions needed to be made and how many service providers we needed to pull together to make the day what we wanted it to be. We also knew we wanted a destination wedding which comes with added complexity. From our first chat with Jess, we were taken aback by how experienced she was and by how fun and stress free she planned to make the process for us. Well, from the start to the very end, Jess exceeded every expectation we had. The entire experience for us is the most magical memory and this is absolutely due to the role Jess played in bringing our vision to life, in having the most incredible contacts and for handling all the logistics behind the scenes. We found Jess' help even more significant in the week before the wedding. Jessica was an absolute dream come true for us to plan our wedding in South Africa whilst living in Europe. Her knowledge, attention to detail, relationships with suppliers and overall service was absolutely first class.She was always readily available, whether it be by phone, mail or WhatsApp and had a super team working with her who were equally as helpful.She enabled us to create our absolute dream day and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Jessica and the team were constantly a strong supporting foundation throughout our wedding experience. Very relatable and friendly, and highly organised. We came across Jess’s Instagram page and were immediately impressed with the weddings she had organised and the suppliers she works with. After looking at her website and reading the fantastic testimonials we were sold on Jess! Jessica is unbelievable - She made the impossible possible, working day and night while keeping a friendly smiley that just tells you whatever you need will be done. She provided us the necessary stability while making all operations of all four events in three days work perfectly. The overall experience was incredible. Jessica has a service mentality that is unheard of in Europe where we come from. She really puts YOU as the customer first and even sometimes challenges you if you might think something is too big of an ask. Jessica is incredible at her job and was amazing throughout the entire process of planning our wedding. Jess was friendly, down to earth and professional so we always felt confident that everything was under control and got to enjoy the planning process without added stress. Jess really put as at ease and understood what we wanted, which meant that our day really reflected our vision. Also, our wedding had to be postponed last minute in 2021 due to changes in covid regulations and Jess took this totally in her stride and helped us to reorganise our big day without a glitch - which was truly above and beyond and something we appreciated so much!Our actual day was just incredible thanks to Jess, Andee and all of their hard work. Everything went so seamlessly and looked absolutely amazing! Jess and Andee took care of everything and were so attentive - not just to the big things, but so many small, thoughtful things that we really appreciated (and had not even thought of for ourselves). For example, my wedding bouquet was placed in my room and our stationery was saved for us without us even thinking ahead about this. Jess is the absolute best, and made our dreams come true for our wedding! We would recommend her and her team 100% and without hesitation.

As a destination bride from the USA during my wedding planning experience I was extremely cautious when researching wedding planners for my wedding; I needed to ensure foremost that the planner I chose was professional and would communicate effectively as I needed to trust them entirely during the wedding planning process. I knew searching on Instagram would provide me with the most current wedding planners in Cape Town, double checking not only their Instagram feeds, but also the website and Facebook. The moment I saw Mon Amour Events Istagram feed I fell in love with their previous weddings and I was obliged to check out the website; to only find the most beautiful weddings and decor, not to mention Jessica had the warmest headshot and I instantly felt a connection; I then knew I needed to schedule a consultation.Upon the first consultation Jessica made me feel so comfortable and I told my Fiance at the time that Jessica was the perfect wedding planner for us! During my wedding planning process the world endured a global pandemic, the most devastating thing a bride could experience and Jessica was such a supportive person during the hectic ordeal of having to postpone our wedding. I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to deal with the vendor rescheduling process without Jessica's expertise. Jessica was able to revamp our destination wedding including 30 guests to a destination elopement that was more magical than I could have ever imagined!I am beyond satisfied with the services of Mon Amour Events, I doubt any other planner in the country could have made my wedding dreams come true! I would without a doubt recommend Jessica to anyone planning a wedding in South Africa; my husband and I plan on having a vow renewal in the Winelands every 10 years and hiring Jessica as our planner.

Jessica is a world class wedding planner and we are so grateful that we found her, she was able to bring our wedding vision to life and went above and beyond to make every detail and request possible.From the day we started planning I felt so comfortable as she was very accommodating and super efficient with excellent communication throughout the process, she also shares in the excitement which is so much fun. I loved how Jess was to really able to understand what we wanted to create and execute flawlessly, while still guiding us on what was practical and with in budget at the same time.On the day we were blown away by how everything had been pulled together down to the finest details, and even things that we hadn’t thought about.
