The most unprofessional company I had to deal with. The staff firstly had a an aggressive ,loud altercation in my home.I overheard them accusing each other of making mistakes.When I complained I was informed by the owner I will be given a compliance certificate (Ethekwini)if I doubted their competence however he did not apologize once for his staff’s behavior , came across as rude and obnoxious.Then they insisted there was electricity to my house but they tripped the mains outside my house and the electrician left without bothering to check if I had electricity or not. When I complained they stated he was in the Bluff and I had to wait for him and it was already about after 3 pm.I then got the complex electrician to sort it out. Again no apologies from the owner for the inconvenience. Then 48 hours later they sent me the bill and asked me to settle it with a promise of a compliance certificate from the council .I queried about insulating the pipes as per regulations and was informed ,this will be done at an additional cost to make the geyser compliant.The owner then accused me of being disrespectful and refused to come back to attach the drip tray which they left in my roof. I am happy to pay for expert professional ,transparent service delivery,unfortunately it is a rare quality these days.

We contacted this business after experiencing a geyser problem on 26 February 2021 at 16.30 and were shouted at when we queried costs and call out rates. The man in question proceeded to cut the call before we could explain why we were surprised at the cost of R550 callout and R826.50 per hour. This business interaction with clients is, in my opinion, unprofessional and unacceptable. The call was recorded.

Our geyser burst on the 23rd of December, the worst time of the year to have a major plumbing issue. Byron's team took up the challenge and arrived early on the 24th and got to work. The job was made more difficult because they had to go in through the roof tiles (due to issues with the trap door) and they took it in their stride and had it all replaced, closed up and working by early afternoon. The team was extremely professional, they adhered to COVID protocols and didn't leave a mess behind. I'm pleased Van Deventer Plumbers was recommended to us, they've been a huge help
