PNA Hazeldean

I recieved a warm welcome upon entering which made me feel right at home. The staff are friendly and helped me quickly.

Wow what a beautiful PNA... and the arts and crafts section is HUGE!!The staff is always extremely friendly and eager to help!! Will definitely support them more in the future.

I went there to ask to receive a quote on a bulk order. The lady that assisted me was friendly and kindly explained that they do not do quotes however I can walk around the store and see the current prices of the items I want. She then gave me a paper and I proceeded to write the prices of the items I wanted. It would have been lovely to have a quicker way to do this however, I am happy with the service and assistance from the staff there.

This is an awesome PNA, pricing is fair, service is good and the variety of products is exactly what I need for myself and the family.

Love the shop. Well stocked. Staff are friendly and very professional. Pricing is good. A lot bit more art goodies would be wonderful.

Love this place! They have a huge selection of arts and crafts plus school supplies and office supplies. Plus they offer a loyalty card that can br used at any branch.

Terrible help from the manager the lady is just not interested in assisting anybody. Even her staff is pointing out that customers are leaving the shop because she is not helping - het only response is “ i am sure they will get what they want somewhere else”

Staff didn’t know where the stock was.

Extremely disappointing, this used to be a lovely store, and always my first choice to purchase text books. However there seems to have been a policy change with regard to their educational books. The section is much smaller and has been blocked off with signage stating that customers need to ask for assistance in order to look at the text books. I went to the sales counter, and asked the lady for assistance, she wanted to know what book I wanted, I told her I needed to see what stock they had as I needed a few books. She sent a young gentleman with me. I asked him for the 2 grade 12 books I needed, he said he needed to check the system, I said that was fine I would wait there for him, while I looked for the other books I needed. After a while I noticed him hovering next to me, so I asked him if he found the grade 12 books? He replied he needs to check the system, so I said ok please check for me, and he replied Rhat he could not leave me there unattended. When I asked why he said it was store policy. From this I can only assume that the PNA is silverlakes has decided that all customers entering their store are there to steal textbooks and need to be monitored at all times while looking at these books. Such a broad assumption that all customers are criminals and should be treated as such! Extremely disappointing. And a very humiliating experience! I told the gentleman that I would then go to another PNA and look for the books there. He and his manager who walked passed during this interaction where not too phased! The best way to prevent customers from purchasing products is to keep it out of reach of customers! If this is PNA Silverlakes intention then well done! You succeeded in selling zero textbooks today!
