Visited the Woolies store inside the Engen, purchased a few items of which one was a Peppermint Crisp Tart. The woman at the counter that assisted me waved the dessert and bellowed, 'and this'? I gave the dessert a closer inspection expecting to find something unpleasant growing and asked her, what was wrong. She gave me a sharp look, clicking her tongue and pointed to the specks of flaked chocolate that had attached to the packaging.Nothing to see here folks. She continued to ring the rest of the items. I handed her my Woolies card to swipe and she again gave a look as if I had just told her I kill babies for a living. I can't imagine what is so offensive about presenting my Woolies card. Food paid for. I asked her for her name, to which she huffed, before overly pronouncing her name No-nule-ko as if I am some retarded person thaf has never heard or pronounced that name before.I am very disgusted with the level of service I received tonight. I have been a customer at that store for years having lived in the area.To the owner of the Engen Golden Harvest Convenience Store, get your staff in order or you will loose your customers permanently.

This place deserves a 0 star...useless, no fuel for 2 weeks. Incorrect price of diesel on Thursdays when they happen to have diesel. Tire gauges report incorrect pressure by more than 1.2 bar under the actual pressure. Spoken to manager several times about issues and nothing is being done.

Just check what you purchase from the Woolworths stock - got home to find fungi on the bottom of my salad. Not worth my petrol to drive back, just saying.... next time I ask them if I can open it in front of them before leaving. Other than this the rest of the stock is great.

I ordered a cake just now from them through Uber eats and they told me they don’t have the cake I must chose something else which I did and still said they don’t have and I’ve already paid with my card. Why can’t you guys update your app…please refund me the money I paid for a cake which I didn’t receive.

Do yourself a favor and don't use this garage. They hardly ever have fuel. The staff is beyond unhelpful and rude. Their items are sold at a higher price than what I have noticed in other stores. This garage desperately needs a change of management.

I'm a believer in supporting local business in my area. Unfortunately this won't be happening with Engen Golden Harvest any longer. Today was the fifth time in about two months that I was told they have no fuel when I wanted to fill up. Unacceptable when you have competitor filling stations close by who always have fuel. I have had great service from Shell and BP the last 5 times of filling up.Is it an Engen problem (I also experienced the same at Engen Olivedale today) or a franchise management problem? Either way, sort it out or close the franchise and give this lucrative site to a different fuel brand.

The Engen Golden Harvest service station has recently been out of all grades of fuel on Thursdays - coincidentally when they run a special on Diesel. Every time my wife or I get there on a Thursday, all pumps are closed. The new management is useless if they cannot order fuel in time OR they are deliberately saying they are out of fuel when they are not. Either way, fewer people are likely to go there for fuel as a result.

Neat garage, carcass good, BUT, o purchased a bottle of water and checked my change outside, exactly R10 short. When I re entered the cashier face gave it all away she knew I was onto her. The shortfall was refunded with no query whatsoever, be careful, you could be fleeced .

They charge R60 just to vacuum ur car whicj is not even 5min.Want to make money or what. 2 km from there u pay R15.

Engen Golden Harvest is re-opened under new management on 12/05/2022. Forecourt, Woolworths, Quickshop open 24/7.Visit their car wash. Diesel promotion: fill up 50L or more of diesel and receive a free 2L cold drink.
